The difference between an allergy and an intolerance can literally be the difference between life and death. While an intolerance can have a somewhat more relaxed approach, all allergies must be identified correctly and the allergen strictly avoided at all times. This module looks at the different approaches to allergies and intolerances, discusses how to safely manage food allergies – including with alternative foods – and maximise nutrition.
